I first picked up the guitar when I was 14. I then gave up after 3 weeks because it was too much effort.
However, the call of music and composition kept calling out to me, and i reintroduced myself to the medium at 16, picking up bass and guitar simultaneously.
I first tried composing progressive rock/metal under the name EON BLUE back in 2019, with influences such as Devin Townsend, Deftness, Tool and Aphex Twin.
However, after growing more and more disenchanted with the music industry, I rebranded my musical voice under the name KLEPTOS. A place where i could throw anything i wanted at the wall, smashing genres and styles together that had no business being under the same artist; my way of saying "I don't care anymore" to the world.
To call the music of KLEPTOS a s**tpost, you wouldn't be wrong, but's ultimately where the fun in it is for me. From black metal to electronica, from acoustic folk to progressive symphonic rock, all is fair game; just depends on how I'm feeling...
